Linda Howard

Linda Howard has been teaching at the Wright Step School of Dance since 2002. She has been a dance and tumbling instructor for over 45 years. She and her husband Fred, have three beautiful girls of whom they are very proud.  

 

Linda's professional dance career has taken her all over the world. She worked as a dancer/ acrobat for Tibor Rudis in the Bahamas and for Miller-Reich Productions in large production shows in Miami Beach. She spent a summer on Canada's fair circuit before working in Tokyo, Japan at The Crystal Room. Linda was the line captain in shows at the El San Juan Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her dancing travels also took her to Las Vegas where she worked with the likes of Tammy Wynette, the McGuire Sisters, Penn & Teller, Redd Foxx, Vic Damone, Charro, and Suzanne Somers. She was also a Kansas City "Chiefette" for 3 years. 

Before moving to Florida, Linda was the co-owner of a dance studio in Las Vegas, where she taught Tap, Jazz, Tumbling and Ballet. Presently, Linda teaches Pre-dance, Tap, Ballet and Tumbling at the Wright Step, and works with the Xtreme Team Dancers on stretch and conditioning. She feels so lucky to get to know these kids and share her love of dance!
