Skylar Ruse has been dancing at The Wright Step since the age of 6 and later joined the Xtreme Team family.

 

Over the years, Skylar has trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, Tumbling, and Hip Hop. Throughout her time on the competition team, she has competed and attended numerous dance conventions, where she has earned multiple scholarships and been selected to perform in final showcase performances. Her group routines have received numerous overall awards, judges’ awards, and top placements at both regionals and nationals.

 

Throughout her years at The Wright Step, Skylar has had the opportunity to assist alongside Mrs. Amy, Mrs. Linda, Mrs. Bekah, and Mr. Chris, gaining valuable experience working with dancers of all ages.

 

Within the past year, she has also been given the opportunity to sub in for classes, further developing her teaching experience. She is excited to begin teaching her own classes and looks forward to sharing her love and passion for dance with your children. 

 

 

In addition to teaching, Skylar is currently attending Southeastern University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She is grateful for the opportunities that dance has given her and can’t wait to see your dancers grow!
